Mollymook

Introducing our coastal beach house renovation

Mollymook 1.jpg

We worked with wonderful clients on their dated beach house in charming Mollymook, on the NSW South Coast. We consulted on the external paint colours, stained the existing timber floors, completed a full decoration throughout, installed a new kitchen and butler’s pantry, redesigned the bathroom, installed new light fixtures and fully sourced, furnished & styled the property to complete the renovations.

Project Completion Date 2017

The client brief

Our clients wanted to open up the kitchen to the living area, introducing light were after light and bright on a medium budget.

We aimed to transform this beach house into an inviting, chic & practical home ready for holiday rentals.

Incorporating some of their existing furniture?

What we achieved

Using a light and bright paint palette, we introduced warmth and texture with a variety of wooden furniture and styling items.

Nib walls between the kitchen and living room were removed, and the front door was replaced with a triple bifold window, allowing light to flood through the space. The flow between the kitchen and living areas is significantly improved, with guests able to easily socialise between the areas.

We achieved the classic beach boho look, on a medium budget allowing the owners to start letting their property to holiday makers.

Would you believe this little beach house even has a butler’s pantry!? This allowed us to keep the main kitchen area de-cluttered and let the beautiful white marble bench top shine.

Feeling the love from our client

I can’t recommend Danielle Victoria Design more highly. Danielle has now helped me with two of our homes and done a fabulous job. Both renovations consisted of a kitchen & bathroom renovation, some building works with new windows and doors and furniture selection and placement as well as colour consultation for our holiday home. She listened to our needs and wants and came up with great ideas, a range of options and some clever solutions. We would not hesitate to recommend her and will definitely use her services again in the future.
